Why would you even consider this at this point. After 8/17, everyone will be U, so who knows when you get to even file if you wait. You want to tack on 6months to your wait (and thats being generous), and them pay more money?

To members in North Carolina. Today I have received inquiry from News and Observer Group of Raleigh, NC. The inquiry has come through an immigration attorney. They would like to interview someone who is affected by retrogression and understand how the problem would cause brain drain from USA. few days ago, I tried to extend H4 visa for my spouse but I heard through one of the lawyer in the firm that once H4 visa holder used EAD, H4 becames invalid unless you enter again in POE using H4, we cant apply for H4 extension as the current status is AOS. But we are still exploring it.
I checked in H4 extension form I-539, they ask:
1. current immigration status?
2. whether you want to extend current status or change of status?
But my spouse is working so if we say change status to H4 from AOS then not sure whether she can use immediately EAD to work? I opened a thread regarding this.
Anybody experienced the same issue as above? Thanks.
Once your spouse started to use EAD (Work), spouse is no longer on H4 status and H4 status expires. You can reapply for H4 as long as primary applicant is still on H1. Once H4 is applied and i-797 issued, spouse had to go for stamping for h4 and reenter to be again in H4 status.

We desis/chinese suffer because of too much population. To avoid the pain and sufferring we go through. Lets try and save our future generation from this mess.
What has this got to do with IV ?
Is IV now taking up the cause of curbing population explosion. I suggest that along with this we should take up the cause of Global warming too. Oh! yeah and let us throw in Aid Awareness too. :D

Most of the time I don't really like photos that are processed with canned Photoshop effects, they are either too obvoiusly based on a photo or not "handmade" enough. I think by chance (I tried one efter the other just for fun and to see what they did) I stumbled on an effect ("Diffuse Glow" distortion effect in CS) that surprisingly gave this sort of painting or water color look. I tried it on some other photos and it just made a total mess of them. It just somehow worked for this specific picture.
