You are not subject to the cap. As you spent more than a year outside the US , you have the option of resetting your H1B clock (in other words ,apply for a H1 which would be valid for 6 years ,but would also be subject o the cap) or reviving your old H1B which would not be subject to the cap.
If you need a reference ,PLease refer to the AC21 provisions.

Nothing stops you from having a religious marraige.

We had the same situation with my wife's H1-B. We spoke to the lawyer and he had forwarded us an e-mail reply from USCIS, stating that USCIS had decided to issue the validity of 797 from the date of adjudication or approved date rather than from the previous expired h1B date and this is not happening across all the cases. I also have applied at the same time as my wife's h1 and My h1b dates are matching.

I'm not sure the need of physical office for GC, but for H1 transfer and extns you may get RFE for office photos, lease agreement (notarised copy) etc.

If I remember correctly, if your I-140 is "approved" and if your I-485 is pending for more than 180 days, then it "should not" be matter whether your I-140 is revoked or not.
In your case, if you get RFE (what for????) , just send the AC21 letter and you will be fine.
Just my thought on this.

In my labor and I140 I have my job title as ' Data ware house architect'.
My H1 says 'Programmer Analyst'. So while applying my 485 I menationed my current occupation as 'Programmer Analyst', which is different from what my labor and 140 says.Will this create any problem?

Ask your company if they can do your H1 extension under CORP thus the legal entity does not change and there should be no issue.
It seems like for your initial H1, it was a mistake on their part that they filed you H1 under CORP while you were actually paid by the BANK. Can you ask them why they did that in the first place?
If it's a mistake on their part, there's no reason why you should suffer and they must take every effort to help you out. Work with them, talk to your manager, his/her manager and explain them the issue. It's an internal thing and I'm sure can be worked out.

Here is my situation-
I filed I485, EAD and AP in July with approved I140. This month My company is acquired by new company. Starting November 1st I will be employee of new company.
I just finished conference call with my lawyer as per him, There is no change in GC process only New Company has to file AC21 after 180 days of filing 485. When I asked him whether I can maintain my H1 after filing AC21 he said yes.
Is it possible?
